A free weeklong summer camp experience for San Diego-area youth ages 9–12, filled with outdoor adventure, new friendships, positive role models, and opportunities to grow.

Camp Jack began with a simple dream: give young people from San Diego the opportunity to leave their everyday surroundings behind and experience the joy, freedom, and growth that can happen during a week at summer camp.
Founded by Jack Wyatt of the Downtown San Diego Lions Club, Camp Jack continues that vision at Whispering Winds through outdoor adventure, supportive relationships, teamwork, and a safe environment where kids can simply be kids.

Outdoor Adventure
Campers step into the mountains for a week of recreation, exploration, fresh air, and experiences outside their everyday routine.

Camp Jack gives kids the opportunity to spend a week immersed in the mountain environment of Whispering Winds — away from screens, routines, and many of the pressures they may experience at home.
Campers are encouraged to try new things, enjoy outdoor recreation, develop practical life skills, and experience the kind of community that makes camp special.
