Camp Emmaus brings together high school students from across the Diocese for a week centered on faith, leadership development, community, and mission.
Through workshops, prayer, presentations, and hands-on experiences, participants are challenged to grow as communicators, leaders, and disciples who can bring what they learn back to their parish communities.

Leadership Workshops
Practical workshops help teens strengthen leadership skills they can bring back to their parish and community.
Prayer & Worship
Daily Mass, Adoration, reconciliation, and praise and worship create space for deeper spiritual growth.
Communication
Communication and public-speaking workshops help young people grow in confidence and learn to lead effectively.
Community
Teens connect with other young Catholics from across the Diocese through shared experiences, small groups, and camp life.
Parish Mission
Participants develop ideas and practical plans that can strengthen ministry and leadership within their home parish.
Camp Fun
Music, performances, activities, and time on the mountain keep the week energetic, memorable, and relational.

Camp Emmaus is offered in partnership with the Diocese of San Diego.
What You'll Experience
Programming is designed to help teens grow spiritually while also developing practical leadership and ministry skills.
Who Can Participate?
Camp Emmaus welcomes teen leaders, young adults, and adult chaperones participating through parish youth programs.
Youth
Participants must be incoming sophomores through incoming seniors.
Young Adults
Young adult participants must be 18–20 years old.
Chaperones
Chaperones must be age 21 or older. One chaperone is required for every eight youth attending.
Registration Happens Through Your Parish
If your parish is interested in participating, connect with your Youth Minister or Confirmation leadership team for registration details. All Camp Emmaus participants must register through their parish youth program.
Visit Diocese Youth MinistryStaying at Camp
Camp Emmaus participants stay in Whispering Winds lodge rooms or Dormitory Village. Campers may bring a pillow and sleeping bag or twin-sized sheets and a blanket for their stay.
