More Than Just a Week at Camp

Sixth Grade Camp gives students the opportunity to step away from the everyday routine and experience faith, friendship, learning, and adventure together on the mountain.

Faith Meets Discovery

Camp gives students space to ask big questions, experience their Catholic faith in a new setting, and discover the beauty and wonder of God's creation.

Programming combines prayer, recreation, community, and age-appropriate faith and science exploration designed specifically for sixth-grade students.

Students participate in Mass and Confession while also engaging themes inspired by Catholic thought, science, and creation.

Bringing Your School?

Participating schools help make camp successful by providing transportation, chaperones, and student supervision throughout the week.

Transportation

Schools arrange transportation for students and chaperones to and from Whispering Winds.

Chaperones

Each participating school provides adult chaperones for the full camp experience, including appropriate male and female supervision.

School Representation

At least one participating chaperone must be an employee of the school.

Small Groups & Supervision

Chaperones help facilitate provided small-group materials and remain responsible for student supervision, including overnight supervision.

Chaperone Lodging

Chaperone lodging is arranged separately from student accommodations.

Before Camp

Participating schools receive preparation information, schedules, forms, and arrival details before their camp session.

Preparing for Camp

Packing lists, arrival information, frequently asked questions, medication guidance, dietary information, and other preparation details are provided to participating schools and families before camp.
